Your marketing for this wacky holiday should be geared around your special PC’s name. Make posters and emails, and ads that are in the third person form of “George.” If you have trouble with the writing in the third person, you can always blame your marketing campaign on “George.” Here’s an idea for you.

“I was surfing the web when my trusty computer noticed a website that informed us that on the twentieth is Name Your PC Day. I didn’t think that was such a good idea and tried to move on. Well, my PC would have nothing to do with moving an inch. He started whirring and hissing but wouldn’t budge. Ever since then I have been having trouble with him. So my only recourse was to promise to give him a name.

This is where I need your help. I haven’t a clue what to name my PC. So how about you sending me your ideas. The person whose suggestion is chosen will receive ---- and a huge Thank You.

So send your ideas to … But hurry, I don’t know how long the PC will hold out and besides I only have until the twentieth before Name Your PC Day arrives.”
