Some of you know I've been a single mom since 1993.. when my youngest was 6.... I have 4 kinds. For the past decade I've had this sitting on my desk framed in a beautiful silver frame that my daughter gave me for Christmas. The edging of the frame has the quote "Go Confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined" I thought that would so appropriate to post my goals so somewhere in the late 90's I framed this in that frame
MY JOB - is to give my children wings by preparing them to leave the nest
MY GOAL - is to work myself out of a job, but not work myself out of a relationship
MY SUCCESS - is being out of a job as I am successful if my children no longer need me but yet want to share their life with me!
My youngest just moved home from college and everyone is settled into their homes, jobs, lives...
Time for me to create a goal that's focused on me... That's hard to do when for 55 years you've only and always lived for someone else.

I see something posted as such and wonder why the person does not want me there.
